![]() ![]() Max Ski hold an Air Travel Organiser's Licence (ATOL) granted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The Max Ski ATOL number is ATOL 6698. The role of ATOL is to ensure that you don't lose out if Max Ski goes out of business, either before you travel or while you are abroad. ATOL is the government's licensing and financial protection scheme for air holidays and flights sold by tour operators and travel organisers in the UK, and is managed by the CAA. ATOL protects the consumer from losing money or being stranded abroad. It does this by carrying out financial checks on the firms it licenses and requiring a guarantee, to be lodged with the Civil Aviation Authority. If Max Ski goes out of business, the CAA will make a refund the customer, or if the customer is abroad, it will arrange for you to finish the holiday and fly home. ATOL protection is included in the price of a holiday booked with Max Ski, and there’s a Government-backed fund called the Air Travel Trust that steps in if any ATOL bond isn’t enough to look after everyone affected by a failure. Only ATOL will refund you or get you home. ATOL is the only protection scheme for flights and air holidays sold by tour operators in the UK.
