A Max Ski seasons ski programme wouldn’t be complete with a trip to Livigno, and the week we’ve picked in January should provide us with one of the best times in the season to get the most out of this lovely snow sure resort. Gone are the Christmas and New Year lift queues, yet there still remains a lovely buzz around the town after the madness of the previous two weeks.

The apartments used by Max Ski for this week are all in the San Rocco area, which will provide easy access to the Carosello ski area and lifts. The superb Bellavista restaurant is within walking distance, and some great bars such as Daphnes and Marcos are also nearby. All this is assuming that you can survive the famous Carosello après ski bar that awaits you at the end of a long day on the slopes.

There’s some good skiing to be had in Livigno, and the addition of the a couple of more lifts on the Carosello side of town means there is now over 115 kms of piste to go at. The World Snowboard World Championships were held here just 4 years ago, and with 2 large well equipped snowparks as well  then there is enough to keep you happy all day long.

The discounted price of this holiday is £475 per adult, and includes flights from Manchester and many regional airports leaving on the 7th January, private coach transfers and self catering in the Max Ski apartments .Max Ski will also be able to offer a 10% discount off the Livigno lift pass for this week. The return is on Saturday 14th January.

MAX SKI SNOW-WATCH

The Skiing in Livigno goes up to 3000 metres, and this resort has an excellent snow record. Snow depths for this week last season were 130cms on the upper slopes and 90cms on the lower slopes.
